This novel holds a very special place in my heart.
Years ago, my mother began writing a story that she was never able to finish before she passed away in 2025. While sorting through her writings, I found the beginnings of that story and was deeply moved by the idea she had imagined.
The novel you are about to read is not her manuscript. It is my own story, written in my own voice, with my own characters, plot, and journey. But its inspiration began with a spark she left behind.
Writing this book became more than creating a novel; it became a way to honor her memory and celebrate the creativity we shared. I hope that, in some small way, this story reflects the love, imagination, and inspiration she passed on to me.
This book is dedicated to her memory and to the dream that helped inspire my own.
